Ya know, those shoes that little kids have that are super cool. Yea, those. I've looked at Wal Mart and Target and places like that and they didn't have them. Does anyone know of any special places that might have them?
Does anyone know where I can get light up shoes in men's sizes?
Check with Clown Colleges. They might have them in the student store.
Reply:why would you want light up shoes... they are NOT cool... i am a shoe specialist and i would def make fun of anyone that wears light up shoes
Reply:lol thats funny
Reply:why? trying to live up the inner child?
Reply:Don't get discouraged, I've TOTALLY seen them for larger sizes! Almost bought them, too :P
I think they were at wal-mart but that was like last year.
I would try www.zappos.com and also try key word searching in google or yahoo search.
Reply:i don't think they make those for older ppl...

Other dept manager's giving orders/special requests?
I am currently 26 wks pregnant and I gave my doc's note to my boss regarding heavy lifting (nothing over 10lbs)...However, other dept managers come give me orders (as if they are my boss) and my boss sometimes hears it but just ignores it. Its putting lots of stress on me. I don't want to go and ask for every little thing, I don't want them to think that I am being a baby, but its getting too much...
BTW-since getting pregnant and announcing my pregnancy to my boss at 9 wks she never made any special arrangements nor had she scheduled a meeting to go over things and I am going on maternity in two months! I don't want to be stuck recruiting and finding my own replacement and training in the last minute but I also don't want to bug her for every little thing.
New employees are being hired without letting me know what their responsible for and they are starting to give me orders as well and she says nothing
All of this is getting very stressful to me.
What would you do in my shoes
Other dept manager's giving orders/special requests?
pregnancy is a huge thing and you have every right to bug her about every little thing because it is for the safety and well being of yourself and your baby. as her if the 2 of you can meet to discuss things and let her know everything.

Help! I'm going out somewhere special this weekend?
As a 20th birthday treat, my boyfriend is taking me out somewhere special this weekend .. but he won't tell me where. All I know is that he bought me a dress %26amp; heels to wear on the night .. so I assume it's somewhere formal! Since I have the dress %26amp; shoes, I just need hair tips. I'm doing my hair myself, so I want something simple. I love vintage hairstyles, like those in THE NOTEBOOK and HAIRSPRAY .. but I have no idea how to go about creating them, which ones are simple etc .. Please help. I want to look nothing short of amazing this weekend! Thanks in advance!

I don't know what kind of dress you have, or how long your hair is. But here are a few links that tell you how to do vintage hair styles, although I do not know how hard it would be to do them yourself:

How do you take stuff into or out of your house when you have a "no shoes in the house" rule?
How do those of you who follow a "no shoes in the house" rule get stuff out to your car when you have several bags of items to take somewhere and how do get stuff into the house when you have several bags of items that need to go into the house, even into different rooms of the house?
Do you have a table or a counter or a shelf which is close to your door where you can place all of the items that you need to bring into the house before you take off your shoes, or which you can also use to place all of the items that you may need to take out of the house with you before you put your shoes on?
Are you able to keep that place close to the entrance cleared off quickly and continually so that it will always be available for the special purpose of taking stuff in and out of the house?
What would you do if you were in a hurry to go somewhere and you just put your shoes on to go outside but you just realized that something important that you need to take with you is not by the door?
How do you take stuff into or out of your house when you have a "no shoes in the house" rule?
I guess people who always have this rule would use a pair of slippers or flipflops.
I don't have a rule like this, I always go barefoot indoors or outdoors, but when it's very wet or snowy and I have to walk up and down a few times, then I put the bags just inside the door, walk up and down, then wipe my feet properly and carry them further in to whatever room they need to go. Or, before I started barefooting, I'd do almost the same thing. I worked in a horse barn for a long time so I often had dirty boots, I'd also put all my stuff right inside the door, then take off my boots and carry it further in. I've never had a no-shoe rule, but I did take off my dirty work boots at the door. But even then I wasn't too strict (and often enough in a hurry, since I'm not a morning person, LOL!). I've had to run back in for something I forgot quite often... that's what the vacuum cleaner is for. As an outdoor person I carry sand, dirt, straw, hay, animal hair, leaves etc in on my shirt, jeans, coat, and sometimes in my hair anyhow, big deal.
Reply:Who made this" no shoes in the House" rule ? Because if you dont agree with the importance of not tracking this unwanted dirt, germs, etc. in the house...it will always be an impossible task . If on the other you are of the mind to preserve the standard of your home and do not want shoes it it you will find a way to accomplish your task and really wont be put out by it, having the attitude that it is more of a lifestyle than a rule.
Reply:leave a pair of those rubber summer shoes at the door. I am all for not wearing shoes into the house. The chemicals from the outside world, dirt, fecal matter, etc. you ican introduce into your home by not removing your shoes. you also prevent your indoor pets from getting ill, as, cats lick their paws.
Reply:I have new balance model 575 with velcro straps. I hate that rule don't you? So stupid. Also get flip flops for quick trips in/out.
Reply:I have shoes that I can take off without having to untie and retie them. When you come in the house you just kick off your shoes with your foot and then you can carry anything you need to.
Reply:You carry everything inside the house by the door then switch shoes and bring everything to it's place.
Reply:A pair of slip on/off shoes by the door will solve the problem. I also keep a tote bag on a hook near the door for gathering things that need to go out. The slip on shoes can be kept in the bag, as well.

How do I get my daughter's shoes clean?
She has white canvas shoes (like Keds) that are getting pretty dirty. I've heard I can wash them in the washing machine - is there anything special I need to do?
How do I get my daughter's shoes clean?
they do wash well in the washer, but make sure you wipe off all the dirt and or grass first. I would suggest adding old towels/rags to the washer to make sure they don't bump around too much and get scratched. And let them air dry!
You can also use a rag and or old toothbrush with some moistened baking soda and scrub them good!
Reply:either get some wightening washing powder or you could just get some bleach on a bit of toilet tissue and wipe it and dab that got the dirt of my trainers
Reply:Yes, wash them, but do not put in dryer- bad for dryer %26amp; will shrink- it may work with pillows though-just don`t let them get too dry-damp might keep them from shrinking
Reply:Spray a little Shout on them and wash them . Best advice I can give is don't put them in the dryer if you can avoid it.
Reply:yes you can wash them in the washing machine with just a little bit of bleach, not alot cause it will turn them yellow, and maybe some shout or spray n wash but Oxy clean is a good one too. and then you can put them in the dryer on low tumble or on a vent. good luck
Reply:just put those bad boys in some hot water and bleach!
Reply:take the laces out but toss them in the machine too with the shoes with like colors, (whites)....add regular detergent and add bleach to get them really white...and wash like normal. You can throw them in the dryer too...I always do, it has never hurt anything.
in fact it a great time to wash pillows with it...because when they are in the dryer...the shoes will dry with them...and in turn, beat the pillows and fluff them up nice and fluffy.
Reply:Before washing them in the machine, pull the laces out and replace them with a fresh pair, or hand wash them. When I was a teen, we'd wash them in the machine and then use white shoe polish over the canvas.
Reply:Several people gave good advice for washing in the machine. You can dry them in the dryer, too. First stuff them with clean dry socks.... Do not over dry.!!!!!
Reply:Nothing special, just toss them in......i would let them air dry though. If there are a lot of dirt or stains, you might want to spray with a pretreatment like Spray n Wash.
Reply:im only 17 but im a cheerleader and my coach is always nagging us to keep our shoes clean...and the best way i think is to scrub em with toilet cleaner (gel kind) or with toothpaste.

Best paint to design on clothes and shoes?
Fabric paint coagulates and is hard to apply on the hairy surface of a shirt.
What other paint can be used?
For shoes I have tried oiled markers (the one with toxins), the paint falls off. I applied an finished and or a varnish to the paint and it has not worked, or blurred out the paint to a gray color.
What do I do?
I have also tired to print on computer fabric paint, the one you just iron on, and it has also pealed off. Should I buy a much more expensive one or take it to an special place?
Please help.
Best paint to design on clothes and shoes?
Best paint for fabric is from the well known and trusted company Pebeo. It's called SETACOLOR. Here's a link:
Reply:Fabric paint - use a coat of textile medium on the fabric first and then mix 1 part textile medium into 3 parts of fabric paint and apply this as your 2nd coat once the first coat has dried.
Reply:Acrylic paint is wonderful for clothes, that's what I use for my colorguard shirts I design. because it doesn't come off in the washing machine. I'm not sure how reliable fabric paint is, though, but I think it's expensive... acrylic paint is cheap if you get it in little bottles.

My Dog Chewed my brand new shoes? I am so Upset ,what should I do??
Ok, I bought a nice pair of dress shoes from DSW last night and this morning I did not pay attention for a moment and my dog chewed the heel of one pair. I mean it looks really bad , it is not dyeable i can't fix it on my own
I am really upset, I can't afford buying a new pair and I have a special occasion on this Saturday..
what should I do guys?
My Dog Chewed my brand new shoes? I am so Upset ,what should I do??
put it dwn to experience and in future hide them from your dog
Reply:Don't touch the dog.....Do not hit the dog.... do not scold the dog...Sounds like you have a sad doggie or a young puppy who isn't played with enough....
You dog has NO way to knowing how much any of your stuff costs.or it's expense..Your dog does NOT have human reasoning...
.Keep ONLY your dog toys down in a cute plastic ..Keep all of YOUR stuff put away..Dogs dont settle down until they are over 2 years of age...
Doyou take your dog for a long everyday.....Do you play with your doggie everyday.......
Reply:Wear something else. Not much else you can do. Just chalk that up to another life lesson learned.
Reply:There's nothing you really can do...But buy a cheaper pair...So that way if the dog chews them up again you won't be as mad...Or you could just put them up...
Good Luck
Reply:Have you tried fabric paint...or something from a hobby store...you say that they can not be dyed ??? or that you can't fix it on your own, and that you can't afford to buy a new pair, so what else is left....borrow a pair from someone....or don't you have another pair that you can fix up???? why did you leave them out for the dog to get ???? Have you considered a shoemaker...they still do have them, look in the phone book...I'm sorry if none of this helps, I've tried to think of everything that I can....well good luck, and I hope something works out !!!!!!!!
Reply:Hit your dog with the shoe.
Reply:Take it to a shoe repair shop and see if they can replace the heel.
Reply:Go to the shoe repair shop and find out how much and if they can repair or replace one or both heels. I had two brand new pairs of heels that our puppy chewed because of my daughter leaving my shut bedroom door open. I thought these were a lost cause, and I had spent far to much on them to begin with. The shoe repair man used a special putty and dyed them back to the original color. I couldn't believe the shoes when I got them back. You couldn't see the difference. Call around and see if any of the places can repair your shoes like that. Some repair shops cannot do it.
Reply:get your dog a rawhide...keep your shoes off the floor...ya kinda got to catch him in the act in order for him to learn not to do it....if you can catch him, just tell him NO!
Reply:you must have a puppy and well to be honest that is just a puppy thing the only thing you can do is keep and eye on him and make sure you always have a chew toy out and if you ever see him doing that pop him one and give him the chew toy

also for revenge you should bite your dog's paw.
Reply:Been there. If the shoes are leather you can trim off what is torn with cuticle scissors as close as possible. Then take craft paint the closest to the color you can get. You can also use a spray finish to seal it. If they are fabric then you can take a mixture of glue and water and paint it on to lay down the threads then fill in with markers. With out seeing them. Thats all I can suggest.
Make sure you don't give your dog toys that look like shoes or balled up socks. They don't know the difference betwen yours and theirs.
Hope this helps.

Reply:take it to get fixed and from now on keep your shoes somewhere that your dog cant possibly get them
Reply:Is the dog a puppy? He's probably teething or he's bored. Go buy him toys give him a different toy each day, and make sure you catch him in the act, scream No! Or bang some pans and then quickly turn away. you turn away so the dog will be afraid of the noise instead of being afraid of you.

Totally Annoyed! What would you do in my shoes?
Does anyone else's boss interrupts their conversation with coworkers, or if they are on the phone with a client?
I am kind of tired of it. I think its rude to do that. Whenever I walk in and she is busy or anyone else, I simply come back unless its totally urgent. She does this all the time!!!
She also comes and is asking about special projects all the time and I am overwhelmed as is. She allows other managers to give me things to do and yet she asks about hers and I am overwhelmed trying to figure out whose project is a priority.
She knows this and at one point when I asked she told them to go through her first for any additional projects, but they are bypassing her again and I am tired of it.
Ugh!!!
What would you do in my shoes? Have you been in my shoes before and what have you done to change this?
BTW, I am 24 wks pregnant and still waiting for an answer to work PT after the baby and I know that this stress is no good for my baby or I...
Totally Annoyed! What would you do in my shoes?
My supervisor would scold us for not greeting every one when we are with one customer. I quit. However, since you are pregnant, maybe try going on maternity leave a bit early.

Adult light up sole shoes?? Read more...?
My 56 year old father-in-law wants so badly to have tennis shoes with the light up soles. You know, the ones like most kids have, including my 2 year old! When you walk they light up with different colors. I know, he's weird... a total kid a heart!! If anyone could tell me where I might be able to special order a pair of adult men's size 10u.s. I would be very grateful! It will earn me major brownie points with the father-in-law!!!!

Good for him! That's great!! There's a shoe/clothing company called SUGAR that I know makes them for women. LA Gear, I think, were the first company to make them ,so you could try them, too.
I have seen dozens of pairs of SUGAR shoes that light up on eBay. Bear in mind that SUGAR make women's clothing, but it's still worth a try! Good Luck!
Reply:Ah, the ultimate test for the daughter-in-law! I'm your father-in-laws age, and the only thing close to that, are shoes for old f---'s with lights on the toes for nightwalking.
Reply:Too funny!.. LoL. Maybe you could try Zappos.com, I have pretty good luck there, maybe if you have a DSW shoe warehouse in your area...Sketchers might make this style large enough.

try www.ask.com
I found these sights that might help you out.
Good luck. you might just be spending alot of $$$$

Reply:I would suggest that you just surf the web.
try www.ask.com
I found these sights that might help you out.
Good luck. you might just be spending alot of $$$$

Does anyone know anywhere in London that sells NICE shoes for women in large sizes?
I'm size 9/10 and it's virtually impossible to find a nice pair of shoes in my size without resorting to dodgy websites that sell average shoes for extortionate prices. Everyone knows how important shoes are to a gal, well I'm not allowed to have that obsession. I wear mostly trainers from men's sections and I don't have anything for special occasions. Why should I suffer just cos I'm taller and have bigger feet?! So if anyone knows of anywhere that caters to larger sizes in London then please share!

"Trainers For Trannys" sell more than just trainers. I believe they do delightful slingbacks. I think Old Compton Street is where they are conveniently located.
Reply:Clarks
Reply:evans have a good range of 9-10 and the good news is that these sizes are often left at the end of a sale.
brantano keep a lot in 9 and some in 10, there are usually branches of these stores all over and i would be surprised if there wasn't either of them in or around london. also long tall sally have some lovely ones and they go up to a 11 i think

I'm planning to sell a special SOCKS, which prevents ODOR and evoporates SWEAT. Is it a good product ?
This Socks is made of natural fibre Cotton which is a good sweat absorbent. It's treated to prevent bacterial formation in the Socks. It evoporates Sweat by a special property called WICKING. For your information bacteria and sweat are the causes of bad odor that comes from Socks and Shoes. Is it a product which will be sought after by Shoe users ?

I think it would be a great seller. If this is something you are making yourself, you should sell other products in the same product line, this way, all your eggs are not in one basket.

How should I clean my shoes?
I have a pair of tennis shoes that I threw up all over. They really need to be washed, but I've never cleaned shoes before. I've heard of throwing them in the washer, but not really sure if there's a special procedure. I'd really appreciate any help, thanks, Nick.
How should I clean my shoes?
,PARTY ON NICK! HERE IS THE THING, GO RIGHT AHEAD AND THROW THOSE SMELLY TENNIS SHOES IN THE WASHER (WITH SOME LAUNDRY SOAP OF COURSE) IF THEY ARE ANY THING BUT LEATHER! IF THEY ARE LEATHER KEEP THEM AWAY FROM THE WASHER! IF THEY ARE LEATHER WIPE THEM OFF AS BEST YOU ARE ABLE TO WITH A DAMP RAG! REPEAT IF NECESSARY! AND LET THEM AIR DRY TO MINIMIZE SHRINKAGE!!!!!!!
Reply:If you add a good heap of washing soda, such as Borax to the water, it will help with stains and odour. Report It
Reply:Not a good idea to wash them in the washer. I find that the washers doesnt work that well for shoes, too many dirty spots left that its not worth the noise and the wear and tear on the shoes.
Honestly? Id throw them out. You never said if you loved these shoes or not. They are always replaceable. If you throw them out, maybe some bum would find them, think it was the best thing that happened to him, happily wash them by hand (scrubbed meticulously) and have a really good day.
And you? You would be happily showing off your brand new tennis shoes.
Reply:easily pick em up and throw em in dat washer and wash them up and then put them in low setting in ur dryer or set them out to dry all day. Good luck my dear
Reply:You should use bleach , grese lighting ,or resolve! If dat don't work then foot locker is having a sell.
Reply:TOSS EM' IN OLD FELLA

Well if they are your favorite shoes, throw them in...
I would try to wash them with some bleach, and shoe cleaner.....
If that doesn't work throw them away...
And I agree with the person that said maybe some homeless person will find them and be happy.

Why do people who are crip walking touch their shoes before they start and when they finish?
I was watching the videos on you tube today of people crip walking and some of them would " dust their shoes" before they started and when they finished. Just wondering is there any special meaning behind it.

Does anyone know a good shoe maker that makes comfy heeled shoes for women with a minor Bunion condition?
I have been wearing flat shoes all the time to avoid any pain associated with heels. But I am a woman. It would be nice to wear a little heel for a special evening night out.

Cole Haan has a new line of shoes that the insides of the heels are the same as the insides of running sneakers. They are a little expensive but they are really cute and super comfortable.
Reply:I love Nine West. I have many shoes from them. They are like tennis shoes to me. I also like Steve Madden. I am a person who loves shoes...the higher the better actually, and I have found these two brands 2 be the most flattering as well as forgiving on the feet. They have Nine West and Steve Madden stores in many malls, but they are also sold in most department stores. Hey, if it makes any difference, they aren't 2 expensive either!
Oh Yeah, make sure you wear the shoes for a day, around the house or to a friends house, to break them in and get used to them b4 the event.

What do you find painful about them?
Reply:Try Padders or Fly Flot. My Wife has some difficulty with heels and has been most satisfied with both brands. I know how painful the condition can be but it might be a good idea to visit your Doctor, ask for an appointment with a podiatrist and go from there. Remember, your feet are under great pressure and failing to keep them fit will cost you dearly in later life if left unattended.

Help Tying Shoes?
I am about to teach my 5 year old to tie his shoes. Could you guys please give me some helpful advice? Please tell me what worked for your child - - any special songs or rhymes or ideas that will help?
Thanks!
Help Tying Shoes?
I used the loop, swoop, and pull method.
Reply:Yes, I have used a successful method, that was designed for the special needs population but works for anybody. We only work 1 step at a time but that maybe too easy for him
Get 2 different color 12" pipe cleaners work with them first Do 5 repetitions a day
The cat is black
The mouse is white
The cat is on the left
The mouse is on the right
#1
The cat crosses over
#2
The mouse crosses on top
#3
The mouse runs under
Pull the tails till they stop
#4
The cat arches his back
In a great big loop
and catches his tail
so it does not droop
#5
The mouse is scared
and runs all around
#6
Then he runs through the hole
so he is safe and sound
#7
pull
this is recommended for ages 4-8
Reply:This can be a little hard for young ones, the thing is that once you learn to tie shoes, you never forget. I always played the rabbit ears game. Make two rabbit ears , hold the ears in each hand and push one 'EAR" under the other and pull.Kids learn better if it is a game. Others may know a better way. remember to be patient, sometimes it may take a while but he will soon do this on his own. Good luck!
Reply:I taught my boys to tie basic knots first (at around age three). My older son (5) started asking about the bows, so I showed him. I used bigger, thicker string to show so he could see it better, and practice....it was actually a cheap jump rope!

How to tell if shoes are fake or real?
Can someone please tell me if there is a way to tell if the Christian Louboutin shoes I bought are fakes. I paid 400 at a consignment store and they are brand new i looked at Saks at the same shoes ran about 700. I am just skeptical with all the fakes these days. is there some kind of special thing to tell? They have the red soles and say Christian Louboutin but still I am not sure. They are the high black ones with cork stilleto heels. thanks alot
How to tell if shoes are fake or real?
Try to take them to a retail where they sell them. I am sure they'll tell you, or call an 800 number if one is provided.

Does anyone know Latin dance shoes that are narrow?
I have very narrow feet. I used to buy my shoes from International (model "Melissa") but now they changed this model to be less narrow. They have a special order option for narrow, but when they make it they are actually almost the same as regular. Does anyone know good respectable Ladies Latin shoe that runs narrow? If yes - please specify brand and model, if you can, or just describe it. Serious answers only, please.
Does anyone know Latin dance shoes that are narrow?
Tricky one. I have narrow feet as well. Ray Rose is generally narrower than usual, especially the Blizzard: http://www.rayrose.com/.
Supadance 1066 is a very nice shoe and it's narrower as well. http://www.supadance.com/
Eckse (though I haven't tried it) makes narrow shoes as well. A friend of mine was a Melissa XXN girl, but she's very happy with Eckse as well.

I'll give you the website, let you look around.Find the 'custom ladies shoes--narrow width". The average price is about $95 dollars, which is actually a really good price. Good luck in finding your shoes! I have 3 pairs from there in narrow width.

I have an original pair of capezio's and I paid about 7 years ago $150.00, but their prices vary. If you live in NY they have a store on 42nd St. and Broadway. Their shoes run narrow. Good Luck!

Jamaican shoes?
Jamaican Sex Shoes
A married couple was on holiday in Jamaica. They were touring around the marketplace looking at the goods and such when they passed this small sandal shop.
From inside they heard the shopkeeper with a Jamaican accent say, "You foreigners! Come in. Come into my humble shop!"
So they walked in, and the Jamaican said, "I have some special sandals I tink you would be interested in... Dey make you wild at sex.
The wife got really interested in buying the sandals, but the husband felt he really didn't need them, being the sex god he was.
The husband asked the shopkeeper, "How could sandals make you into a sexfreak?"
The Jamaican replied, "Just try dem on, Mon. You doan haff to do nutting cept try dem on.
So the husband, after some badgering from his wife, finally gave in, and tried them on.
As soon as he slipped them onto his feet, he got this wild look in his eyes, something his wife hadn't seen in many years!
In the blink of an eye, the husband grabbed the Jamaican, bent him violently over a table, yanked down his pants, ripped down his own pants, and grabbed a firm hold of the Jamaican's hips.
The Jamaican then began screaming, "You got dem on da wrong feet Mon! You got dem on da wrong feet!"...

The Jamaican then began screaming, "You got dem on da wrong feet Mon! You got dem on da wrong feet!"...

Running shoes?
I'm a long distance track and xc runner and im looking for a pair of shoes that have good cushioning and won't wear out fast. could you tell me which brand is best? i prefer asics, brooks, mizunos, new balance, etc. i currently have new balances, and they're nothing special. also, some to prevent shin splints/pain!
Running shoes?
I have been running for 8 years now. Though I am biased towards Nike as a brand, I would recommend you to go to a running-specific store, like Fleet Feet in Carrboro, NC. They can help you find the right shoe because people buy shoes that aren't necessarily right for their feet, but more comfortable or fashionable. But after you get the correct shoes or even if you haven't, I would go to any major athletics store and ask the sales associates because they are getting paid to know the products they are selling. Good luck!!!
http://www.fleetfeetsports.com/
Reply:The brand isn't important. Go to your local running store and they should help you find the right shoe for you. Everyone's feet are different so having people tell you what brand is the best doesn't help you. Most of the time you can try out the shoe and run a little in it too.
Most running shoes last about the same amount, about 500miles is how far they go(so about one season of track or xc). So they one brand doesn't last more than any other normally. Hope this helps! :)
Reply:adidas bounce is really good support
it doesnt look like it would but it does
good arch support and doesnt slip around
very good. good luck!
Reply:My coach told me to just stick with the big brands. Also, buy the expensive one since you DO get the your money's worth. As a long distance runner I recommend that. And I think asics and adidas have good running shoes.
Anyways, I am a sprinter so I prefer tight and hard shoes that fixes my feet into tiptoe mode. :D
Reply:-well i have diadoras there not really popular at my school but i still have so much rubber on the bottom of my shoe that it will last me at least 2 more years(everyone on my team wont believe it i'm at practice everyday beating them back to our school and there 50$ shoes are worn out already) ps my shoes only cost 25$
-you could get the special cushion which ranges from 10-30 dollars
-it is actually beter if you find a shoe store that is specifically for running they can look at the botom of your foot and the fit you for the perfect shoe and cushion(they also ask questions like how much you run a day? and etc)
Reply:I would have to say Brooks Adrenaline. I too suffer from shin splints, and when I got those shoes, my shin splints got much better.
Reply:Take your current shoes into a running store, show them to the staff and ask them to fit you for your new pair. They'll check the wear on your shoes and watch your stride and pick you out the best pair for your needs.
There's no best brand. You've got the right idea with Asics, Mizunos and Brooks. I've had a few pairs of Asics and Mizunos and have had nothing but love for them.
Reply:well my husband has always stuck to the intelligence ADIDAS..Microbounce Etana try these ones for women

Should I buy high heeled shoes for my midget cow so that I can milk her better?
This is one quirk of nature. DOLLY the cow is only 40 inches in height but pumps out 40 gallons of milk every day. The whole neighborhood likes the creamy milk and there will be a riot if I ever stop delivering the milk to folks, sometimes also taking care of Desperate Housewives as a bonus. The problem is, DOLLY is so short that her nipples almost drag on the ground and she has a special pouch strapped on her haunches that holds her mammaries up, like a bovine push up bra. One of the agri salesman showed up the other day offering to sell high heeled shoes for DOLLY so that I can milk her better. Not a bad idea considering I have to crouch low to milk her and sometimes the fleas from her tail get into my ears. Is it proper etiquette to make a holy cow wear high heeled shoes specially when there are no Bulls nearby to impress. Have you folks heard of such shoes before? What next, lipstick and mascara for DOLLY? Please advise if I should spend the money? Should I raise the milk prices ?
Should I buy high heeled shoes for my midget cow so that I can milk her better?
you know, high heels for the cow is a good idea (not to mention funny as hell) since she is so short but you might want to make sure that the cow is comfortable. I don't know about animals, but I'm not that comfortable in high heels. If your cow gives such awesome milk, try to keep her as happy as possible. If the high heels are comfortable, thats great; if not, you could go with the idea of putting her two front legs on a higher platform, the two behind legs on another platform, then milking her; there'll be room between the platforms. Wait, that may not work..cows keep moving when you milk them. Maybe the high heels are your only option. But Dolly doesn't have to wear them all the time, only when you milk her..that way she's can be comfortable other times. Hope that helps..and now I really want a cow...
Reply:Yes, if you love her you will do whatever it takes. Don't forget to get the really sexy lipstick and some high quality perfume.

Reply:thats sooooooooo funny! You could stand her up on the counter over the sink and put the bucket in the sink....
I am having trouble getting the image of a cow wearing high heels out of my head!
Reply:get a midget to milk the midget cow
Reply:Buy her two pairs of stilletos.
And dont forget nursing bras for her nipples.
Instead of delivering of milk to your customers, ask them to come over and watch you milk the cow.
And you charge for the show.
And they get to buy milk after the show.
Reply:that is a great idea. just...make sure you get her platform heels so she doesnt slip!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:i think this one should be in "jokes and riddles"!!
i would raise the price seen as everyone loves it so much, whether or not you get those ridiculous shoes!!

Reply:Nice, i really like the dress. About the shoes, I think it depends on what occasion. If it is something semi-formal and sort of like casual, then you should use flats. But if it is like a big event, definitely use heels, but not really tall ones since you are only 14. But i think flats/ballerinas would totally go with the dress because of its style. =)

I'm like you...maybe not quite as many pairs of shoes, but lots :) And I have lots of nylons too...too many to count. lol I wear them all the time.
Reply:I own about 3 pairs of nylons -- I like to go bare legged, I think it's sexier than nylons most of the time, but that's just my opinion.
On the shoes, I probably have around 50 pairs, not including flip-flops.
They're my biggest weakness =D
Reply:A girl after my own heart! I certainly have more pantyhose and nylons than I do socks, but I have to wear them for work everyday too. I would say roughly 30 pair of pantyhose, 6 pair of nylons and 50 pairs of shoes

Yes as long as they are nice thats all that matters

All of these people have a built reputation, and were already known before they decided they had a little (a lot of) extra money and thought they'd start a new brand of shoes. Therefore, since your a normal, average person, many people wouldn't buy your shoes, just for the name.
Reply:Yes. Only, they need to look really good and be comfortable. If I where you I would not plan to make something too cheap as often the quality and so the comfort leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe go for something that would cost the consumer around £55- £120.

If you want to go for something with a little pizazz, go for an animal print like zebra, cheetah or jaguar - that ALWAYS looks good when you're going for the sex-kitten look :)

Reply:Ok, this is a must for all women. When you wear red, you ONLY wear red shoes. Any other color is a fashion faux pas, so don't do it. You always wear red shoes with red, especially if it is all red. If you are talking red/black, or red/white...that's different. But if a dress, pantsuit, gown or teddy is all red...you should always red shoes.

Reply:As someone who used to work for Nordstrom, I would suggest some sexy patent leather black shoes.
If you want to go for something with a little pizazz, go for an animal print like zebra, cheetah or jaguar - that ALWAYS looks good when you're going for the sex-kitten look :)
Happy Anniversary!

Reply:Black and Red is always a safe combo :D
Reply:Ok, this is a must for all women. When you wear red, you ONLY wear red shoes. Any other color is a fashion faux pas, so don't do it. You always wear red shoes with red, especially if it is all red. If you are talking red/black, or red/white...that's different. But if a dress, pantsuit, gown or teddy is all red...you should always red shoes.

What dance shoes offer the best support and cushioning for ballroom and/or social dances?
I am looking for a good practice shoe for ballroom and social dances. I would prefer something with a lower heel and profile (I own some bloch dance sneakers which I find to be too bulky), but am overwhelmed by the available options. I really need something with a cushioned insole because I get a lot of pain beneath the ball of the foot. I have been looking online at Elegance's Shazdeh practice shoe, because it claims to have cushioning and a flexible sole while retaining some support. Supadance offers something that looks sort of similar - the 8200 - and I notice they offer special insoles. Does anyone know anything about these companies? Sansha's salsettes also look good, as do some of the tango-specific dance sneakers, but I've never seen either of these types of shoes in person either. Any opinions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
What dance shoes offer the best support and cushioning for ballroom and/or social dances?
Everyone's feet is different, so it's hard to give universal advise. Best support, in my opinion: Supadance, Dance Naturals, International. Out of the above 3 brands, International is probably most cushioned.
Supadance is a good brand, one of the best actually, but if you're specifically looking for cushioning then probably you'll find Supa shoes too firm. I mean they all are properly cushioned, but it is not soft. I just went on Supadance website. 8200 is a Men's Latin shoe. Are you a guy?
Your avatar looks female, so I still assume you're a girl. You need pracice shoe, not men's latin shoe. Men's latin shoe is designed with different purpose in mind than social dance, they have short shank, but you say you need support, therefore you need longer shank, you need Ladies practice shoe, like Supa 1026 (they come in 4 colors). I have that shoe, I put regular drugstore-brand insoles in them. They came with insoles, but they are pretty thin. You might consider getting half-size larger and putting gel insoles in them.
Everyone in my studio is buying Sansha's now. The kind that's without the heel at all, I can't find it on the web. They look great, and people say you can feel the floor in it, unlike with regular dance sneaker.
Elegance isn't a great brand. I've never had them myslef, but I've seen a couple of people frown at the mentioning.
If you're looking for a big fat cushion try Stephanie. Their Standard shoes definitely have a lot of it. I tried them on. But their sole doesn't fit the profile of my foot, I can't wear them.
Capezio social shoes BR09 caused me a foot injurie. It was my first pair, I didn't know what proper support means. Capezio social shoes don't have a metal shank like all ballroom shoes are supposed to have. But on the other hand, my friend has Capezio BR19 and she likes them.
I wear Supadance and International, mostly court shoes and Latin sandals, but I have a pair of practice shoes by Supa.
When trying on your new pair, make sure there is no gap between your foot and the shoe in the middle. That usually leads to sore balls. Every barand is slightly different, and everybody has diffeent feet.
I hope it helps a little bit. Sorry I know nothing about Tango shoes.
Reply:I have Capezio Jr. Footlights. The heel is really low and the shoe is really form fitting. The insides seem to be pretty well padded, and you could always had an insert for extra padding. http://www.capeziostore.com/Leather_Jr._...
Reply:I absolutely love Capezio's Dance Professional 3. They are a little expensive, but are defintely worth it. If you don't want to spend that much money, Capezio also has several other lines that give needed support for Beginners.

Where in Singapore can I buy shoes for people with flat feet?
Got a friend with flat feet and he can't find shoes that give good arch support. Are there any stores that sell special footwear to alleviate the pain of flat feet?

New Balance is supposed to have different type of shoes for different type of feet. You could try that. These shoes are available at Royal Sporting House stores.
Reply:I haven't seen any, though I got myself a pair from US on my last trip there.
My latest pair of Hush Puppies seems to be doing well. For sneakers... forget it.

I'm going out to dinner with my husband for a special occasion and I'm thinking of wearing this dress and these shoes. I am bored of wearing black, so I like that these are both colorful. What do you think of them?? I appreciate your honesty.

Pleather shoes?
I studied in a public school where we have to wear uniforms. Our shoes must be white and we have to keep it white and i have bought a pleather shoes.
How do you wash pleather(plastic leather aka fake leather) shoes? Is it like washing normal canvas shoes for example: converse all stars kind of shoes
Can i wash it??Are there any side effects if i wash it?
I heard there's a special shampoo, where can i buy it?
Pleather shoes?
Wash them very carefully so that you don't damage the faux leather. If there are marks on them that will not come off with soap and water, then try some nail polish remover and a piece of cotton. I had a pair of white dress shoes that got "clinker marks" all over them from walking around an Atlanta street. The only way I got the marks off was with nail polish remover. Be care, though, not to use too much or to rub too hard. A little bit will do you.
Reply:Your best bet is to just hand wash your shoes on the outside with a mild detergent. Don't use abrasives or rough nylon if they are semi-glossy or glossy. You will dull them. You can also use leather cleaner for white leather.
If you stick them in the washing machine you will loosen all the glue holding the insides and possibly the sole and heal.

i saw it on TV,but can't find it on the Net. They used some kind of special marker and they ironed a piece of cloth onto the shoes for maintain the design. Any ideas or full methods on this? Perhaps a website?

Any special socks?
I recently bought flats shoes and i was wonder whether i had to wear some special sock or something else to wear them with. I hope you understand wat im trying to ask. well let me know thanx
Any special socks?
wear any socks, it shouldnt matter really
Reply:No do not understand what you are trying to ask...
Flat shoes as in the ballet shoes everyone has been wearing? If so, it is up to you but everyone I see and myself wear them with no socks.
Reply:you really don't have to but there are trouser socks you can try. They are a cross between socks and stockings.. If they are open toes DON'T WEAR SOCKS. That's just not cute. depends on the bottom you wear too. i wouldn't wear them with shorts.
They are sold wherever they sell stockings
Reply:Payless has these socks, I am not sure what they are called but I bought some- they are like those stocking footlets so they are perfect to wear with flats , but they are slightly thicker (like tights) than stockings- they fit just over the toes and heel and wick away sweat. My daughter likes to wear flats without socks and you can but I just don't like the feeling and if I am going to be wearing them all day and especially going to be doing any walking, the socks make them more comfortable and there is a much less chance of foot odor at the end of the day.
Reply:flats are usually best worn with bare feet or thin stockings.
there are such things as trouser socks that you can find in department stores.
Reply:dont think socks go with flat shoes. try knee-high pantyhose
Reply:stores such as payless sell ballet socks which are made for flats but most flats don't require socks
Reply:try butterflies!!!
Reply:I wear knee-high panty hose or trouser socks. Wear black with black shoes and tan or dark brown socks with brown shoes. If you go with panty hose, you can always go with the "nude" or "fleshtone" color with anything.

How can I clean my suede Puma shoes?
My shoes are mainly creme colored and have gotten so dirty that the suede brush Puma.com recommends does no good. I've also tried special foam suede cleaner that you spray all over the shoe and wipe off but that didn't work.
I don't want to throw them in the wash. Can I possibly use a wet rag with a bit of soap and some kind of oil afterwards so the suede doesn't dry out?
How can I clean my suede Puma shoes?
go to like a shoe store or something
and ask for a suede shoe cleaner
they should probably have some.
Reply:Go to a clothes cleaner (like a drycleaner) that cleans leather and ask what they recommend, or if they can clean shoes.
Once your shoes are clean again -- and whenever you buy suede shoes -- give them a good dose with a leather protectant that is suitable for suede and nubuck. The spray will prevent dirt from soaking into the suede fibres. Then every two weeks, give them a good cleaning with your suede brush to remove any dirt, and reapply the leather protectant spray.
I would not recommend washing your suede shoes, even gently by hand with soap. Water and soap remove the natural oils from leathers (remember, leather is just dead skin!) just like they do from your skin when you stick your hands in soapy water. The difference between your hands and leather shoes is that your hands will heal and produce more skin oils if they dry out -- but leather shoes will just stay dried out with tiny wrinkles and cracks.

Are the Nike+ shoes necessary for using the Nike+iPod product?
I really don't want to buy $100 shoes, so I wanted to know if you could put them in any shoe. I looked at the Nike+ shoes at the store, and I didn't notice anything special for the sensor.
Are the Nike+ shoes necessary for using the Nike+iPod product?
no. all you need is a place to put the sensor on your shoe. You can tie it to the top or something
Reply:no its just a waste of ure money
Reply:I have not looked at the shoes myself, but, supposedly there is a compartment built underneath the insole to accompany the sensor. Normal shoes are lacking this extra space and it may be a litle uncomfortable to put the sensor in there.

Shoes to wear in New York?
I'm travelling to New York on Thursday, and as a quickie I'd like to know what kind of shoes to wear. The forecast says it'll start out in the 30s and progressivly get higher until it reaches 50 the day I leave. I'm also going to be dong a lot of walking. So would regular walking shoes be okay? Trainers? Sneakers? Or do I have to get special hiking boots? Please help!
PS:
I live in Los Angeles, so the shoes I normally wear are either plain old Pumas or slip-on Vans knockoffs. It'd help if anyone knew any places in LA to get suitable shoes. I've tried a few stores that don't have anything.
Shoes to wear in New York?
it is a bit snowy, but depending on where you're going to be, different shoes will be needed. if you're going to the city, flats or whatever you wear in los angeles is fine. if you're going to be hiking, wear hiking boots. if you're staying in a small town with friends and family, standard sneakers will definitely work. heck, bring all three if you wanna be fancy!
have fun on your trip!
Reply:Its snowy here so,,hiking boots are best but,,be sure they are comfortable.Or a durable pair of sneakers.Oh,,%26amp; NY weather changes alot. Its unpredictable.
Reply:Uggs would probably be the best: 1) they are warm (since its cold here, and snowed today) and 2) they are comfy (which is a good thing when you are going to be in Manhattan .. and doing a lot of walking) .. ENJOY YOUR STAY !

If you think it is wrong for government to give special priveleges to people with money...?
does that make you a marxist?
=======================
When Joe from Manhattan called in 1998 to complain about the city government giving special parking privileges to a white-shoe law firm, Giuliani emitted an audible groan into the microphone.
"Well, let me give you another view of that rather than the sort of Marxist class concept that you're introducing," Giuliani said.
=====================
GUILIANI SEEMS TO THINK HE'S SOME KIND OF PSYCHOLOGIST
Then there was David from Oceanside, who was president of Ferrets' Rights Advocacy. He was furious that the city health code had just been changed to bar ownership of ferrets.
The mayor was outraged that David was outraged. They went back and forth during the summer of 1999.
"David, your compulsion, your excessive concern for weasels is a sign of something wrong in your personality," the mayor said. "I am giving you the benefit of 55 years of experience — having handled insanity defenses, you need help
If you think it is wrong for government to give special priveleges to people with money...?
Well, what you're getting at is a right-wing tactic. Its the same thing that happens when Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity yell "Class Warfare!" whenever someone brings up the idea of an ignored working class (and we are ignored.) By bringing up these deep-seated fears of socialism and communism, they are trying to build support for their views. Its ingenious, really. Its aided thousands of people to vote against their economic situation so that they can prevent the commies from getting America too.
So no, I don't think it makes you Marxist if you think its wrong for the government to give special privileges to people with money. I think it makes you intelligent and compassionate. After all, I thought "all men are created equal," was an American ideal.
Reply:Hillary is the worst possible candidate for president. Guliani is a close second.
Reply:So, what's to disagree with? Rudi was right on both counts. The wealthy do get special priviliges, in every country in the world. Anyone who thinks they can change that which has been going on since the beginning of time is naive.

Where can I find shoes to match this dress?
I bought this dress a few days ago, not for any special reason. I already had a great pair of red shoes that go with it, but I'd also like a pair of brown heels that would look nice with the cumberbund. I would also want to wear the shoes at a career fair in the fall, so nothing too flashy or open toed. Also, no ankle straps because they make me look shorter and I have a $35 limit. Any links to appropriate shoes would be greatly appreciated.

What shoes should i wear for Pic Day?
I have to wear shoes, but which ones.?
Red Jimmy Choo Slides
Purple Special Edition Uggs.
Roxy Flip Flops
Roxy Wedge Heels
Rainbow Flip Flops
My Blue Habiscus Converses Low Tops
What shoes should i wear for Pic Day?
I read your other question (in which you described what clothes you'll be wearing for picture day)....and i'd say that you pick the 'Red Jimmy Choo Slides'.
I mean, because you said that your babydoll top is white with a red flower...the red shoes will match with your outfit. :)
Reply:it doesnt matter which are cutest its all about what matches %26amp; also u cant even c ur shoes. but seriously if they're the cutest shoes in the world they will look bad if they don't match
Reply:uhh it kinda doesnt matter because they wont see your feet! but i would say the jimmy choos cause they are more classic and you dont want to look out of date later. Will your feet show though?
Reply:can you even see your shoes in your picture?
and just wear whatever matches with your clothes!
Reply:wear whatever matches your outfit, most people won't even notic the shoes. Having said that, flip flops or uggs can look a bit trailer trashy. If you are short, then go for heels, if you are tall, don't. Personally, i'd go with the red Jimmy Choo slides.
Reply:even though you dont see your feet... definitely the red jimmy choo slides.... i mean, you have to look great during the day, right???
Reply:i agree w/ her^ red jimmy choo-either those or roxy wedge heels
Reply:red jimmy choos
Reply:yous uggs. i lovee uggs. i have 2 pairs of emm.
Reply:All depends on whether the camera will even be on your feet
And what grade are you in?
