How to tell if shoes are fake or real?

Can someone please tell me if there is a way to tell if the Christian Louboutin shoes I bought are fakes. I paid 400 at a consignment store and they are brand new i looked at Saks at the same shoes ran about 700. I am just skeptical with all the fakes these days. is there some kind of special thing to tell? They have the red soles and say Christian Louboutin but still I am not sure. They are the high black ones with cork stilleto heels. thanks alot

Try to take them to a retail where they sell them. I am sure they'll tell you, or call an 800 number if one is provided.
