EVERY place, no matter what only seem to go up to size 12 officially, I could get size 12, BUT they might be a bit uncomfortable, so I go for 13 to be on the safe side, but no where does 13, only those special places that only have types of shoes I dont want... plus they're very expensive! It's so hard to find size 13, can I just ask the manufacturer directly? Like DC or Nike or Converse or whoever?
Thank you
Can I like Email or phone up a company and ask ask for shoes one size bigger?
If you don't like email already, I'm sure you will grow to like it eventually.
Reply:i guess you could
Reply:My partner has exactly the same problem.... he did find that Caterpillar do the larger sizes, and for formal type shoes he has to go to Brantano www.brantano.co.uk but the choice is not so good!! He sometimes gets cheaper shoes on the internet too.... but it's annoying that he cannot walk into a shop and get him shoes/sandals/trainers/slippers or anything to fit!! Marks and Spencers are the only company i know of on the high street who can accomodate him sock wise... as they do a size 12.5 to 14 in their socks, but don't get the shoes in the larger sizes to match!!!
We feel your pain... and any lobbying to manufaturers you wanna do... i say go for it!!!!
Reply:I think you could, but i doubt they would oblige.
I do know that Top man and Burtons do some styles in a size 13. You will need to ask as they are not always on show and sometimes they are just one off so ask
Where do you live near YORK? There is a shop there called TALL GUY - who go up to a size 15 and they have quite a choice.
Reply:You can do what you like, whether it makes any difference is another matter.
Reply:Have your foot sized. A wider width may give you a better fit.
Most shoes come in a D width. Try a E , EE , or EEE width.
If the front of your shoes are curling up--they are too long--you need a wider width.
