I'm looking to get new dress shoes to wear with my suit. What are the difference between rubber sole and hard sole dress shoes? Rubber sole doesnt make clapping noise when you walk on hard floor compared to hard sole soles. The clapping noise gets kind of annoying. Are certain sole choes for certain occasssion? Such as the hard sole for special occassion Anyways this shoes will be more for job interviews and presentations.
How to buy men's dress shoes, hard sole or rubber sole?
The leather soles breathe better, so if you have a smelly feet problem, don't get rubber soles.
Reply:If you are a boss then you can clap your leather soles all you want.
Letahre stitched soles are often sign of a better made shoes than a rubber sole variety.
I use rubber-sole shoe sonly in a rainy weather. Report It
Reply:Must wear soft always if you dont want feet problems.
Reply:Ask a guy at Mens' Warehouse (but be sure they're not only selling one type of shoe).
In my humble opinion, it seems that our hard-soled shoes are more formal. I would prefer them for an actual interview (unless I had to wear them for hours on end).
Of course, hard soles make noise, but that can be minimized. It's kind of like how women have to learn to wear heels -we have to learn how to wear "guy-heels." Bear in mind, it can sound professional to walk assertively, but can sound like you are a clumsy oaf if you are making too much noise.
Reply:I think for job interviews and presentations you'd want to stick with a more formal shoe, which the hard sole would be.
But for everyday work I'd go with the rubber, I mean why not?
Reply:You can find rubber soles to match a suit, you just may need to look around. Try Steve Madden. They are a tad pricey but nice shoes for all occassions.
Reply:just remember. Stiched not glued. Glued is cheap. stiched is better.
