Wedding shoes?

Hi

I'm getting married and I'm having trouble finding some shoes!

All the shoes that are available seem to be dowdy, old fashioned, unflattering court shoes, I want something a bit more fun and stylish!

I'm wearing a knee length dress so would like some shoes that are a bit more special than the usual bridal shoes.

Does anyone have any suggestions where I can fins something a bit different? links to websites etc appreciated!!

Thanks!

Reply:ebay do some beautifull shoes!!

i brought a pair for my friend and they were something out of footballers wifes. they were stunning

you can also get a bridal range of shoes from a company called pink. they do the normal bridal ones but also a more stunning range!!

they are very padded to
Reply:haha my shoes are from a company called pleasures. I think they are really stripper shoes but the ones I got don't look like it they are just clear and strappy.
Reply:This may sound weird - but look at DANCE SHOE sites. These ladies have to wear shoes that are not only flattering, but semi-comfortable and sexy!

I ended up getting shoes from a dance shoe company. They are english shoes which I love, and will be able to use again when I go swing or line dancing.

They cost almost as much as my dress, but then again, I didn't pay a lot for my bridal gown.

Good luck!!!
Reply:try rainbow shoes they have some lovely ones
Reply:try ebay, i got myself some mules there that had sequins and stuff on the front, they look really nice.,
Reply:Chadwick's.com have some nice ones, good prices too!!!
Reply:Go to DSW they have a ton of options
Reply:I Bought mine from Faith, they were 3" heel, ivory satin with a ballet style ribbon tied up the leg. I paid £55 for them and don't want to part with them. I was thinking of dying them black, but I don't want to ruin them either. You could try a website for Faith shoes, they do have some lovely styles. It all depends where you live.

good luck.
Reply:I would go to a bridal shop. I was at Davids Bridal the other day and they have some really cute shoes. Also you could try e-bay or amazon. You could find really cute shoes for really cheap.
Reply:Why not go to a shoe store and look at the selection of shoes worn with cocktail dresses? It doesn't have to be a wedding shoe. My dress was very formal, I designed it and I took a pair of comfortable canvas tennies and sewed hand beaded and pearled lace to match what was on my dress onto the shoes. I then had our shoe cobbler put leather soles on them so I could dance in them. Think outside the box. Look at shoes in your local shoe stores and get something that you like and will go with our dress.
