What is it with women judging guys by the shoes they are wearing?

2X in my past 2 different married women told me they almosty did not even get to know their husbands because of the shoes they were wearing the first time they met. Yesterday I am with a single friend and he and this new female are chatting and getting along, both obviously interested, and when we are leaving she makes a special effort to check out his shoes because she could not see them earlier.





Guys mostly no care about shoes probably wear what you buy for them---I don't get it, I do not believe they are checking out the size of guys feet,,,,are they??

What is it with women judging guys by the shoes they are wearing?
Some women think that if you don't care about the shoes on your feet you may not be a 'total package' kind of guy and might have some flaws not easily detectable right away. How they come to that conclusion through shoes I'm not exactly sure, but as long as you appear like you care about how you look from head to toe perhaps they equate that to having everything in order? More datable?

Reply:Uhh..... I almost never look at people's feet unless I'm really bored with life or someone points them out to me. That's a strange thing. I've never heard of women judging guys because of their shoes. I don't think they're looking for the size, but maaaybe.

Reply:its not the style or brand of shoe...its the size...haven't you ever heard the rumor to that? the size of a man's shoe means his 'private' part is the same...so a size 10 is pretty impressive, more than that and its downright breathtaking in its implication...





personally i only date men who wear a size 10 or larger
Reply:I was brought up that when you meet people for the first time, like at a job interview or a party, the first things people will notice about you are your top and bottom, your hair and your feet. If you don't have a good haircut and good shoes, you may not get noticed. I was also thaught that before they meet you face to face, the only thing they have to judge you by is your application or RSVP, so you should have nice handwriting.

Reply:No, I think they are trying to assuage the man's socioeconomic status. I think that's gross. I only check out men's shoes to see if they are dorky, as in boat shoes, which I totally hate! Some women are very materialistic (as are men, of course).
Reply:the kind of shoe people wear says alot about them. if the shoe looks uncomfortable, then it says that person is up tight, and tries too hard, but if the shoe looks comfortable it say that the person is easy going, and laid back. some people have a foot fetish, and big/small feet scare them, so i would understand that
